RCB Clinch First-Ever IPL Title in Thriller Against PBKS at Narendra Modi Stadium

Royal Challengers Bangalore Crowned IPL 2025 Champions After Final-Over Thriller Against Punjab Kings

Ahmedabad, June 4, 2025 — The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have finally ended their long wait for Indian Premier League glory, defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by a narrow 6-run margin in a dramatic final at the Narendra Modi Stadium. With this victory, RCB have claimed their first-ever IPL title, thrilling fans in a high-scoring, last-over classic.

After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, RCB put up a competitive total of 190/9 in 20 overs. Virat Kohli anchored the innings with a composed 43 off 35, while contributions from Rajat Patidar (26), Liam Livingstone (25), and a quickfire 24 from Jitesh Sharma gave the innings late momentum.
