Dubai, September 20, 2025 - In a high-voltage clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by 4 wickets in the first Super Fours match of the Asia Cup 2025.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Bangladesh’s bowlers kept Sri Lanka in check despite a fiery 64* from Dasun Shanaka. Mustafizur Rahman led the attack with 3 wickets, while Mahedi Hasan chipped in with 2.
