Hyderabad beat Rajasthan Royals by 44 runs and Chennai Super Kings beat Mumbai Indians by four wickets in the first of two IPL matches today.
Ishan Kishan scored his first IPL explosive 106 for six wickets in 20 overs as Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat first He scored a huge 286 runs.
Royals, meanwhile, lost 242 for six in 20 overs despite middle-order batsmen Sanju Samson (66), Dhruv Jurel (70), Simron Hatmyer (42) and Subhash Dubey scoring 34 runs each.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first. Chennai beat Mumbai India by 158 runs for the loss of six wickets in 19.1 overs.
